Saint George
St. George is on the south part of the island and the beach is famous for one of the nicest and cleanest sandy beaches of Corfu. This long sandy beach with shallow waters safe for children, which has sunbeds, umbrellas and water sports facilities and there is free space if you're going to put his own umbrella.
On the beach you can do free argilotherapeia. You can use small pieces of clay which exist on the edge of the little paths who lead to the beach. (Ask us to tell you how to use it).
Very close there are other notable beaches as Issos of Chalkounia and Marathias. In Issos there are the famous sand dunes where you can enjoy the sunset. There is also a lake that is Korision habitat and joins the beach Halikouna.
In the evening you can take a nice walk and eat in restaurants or taverns and taste a nice ice cream.
In the Ag. Georgios region, there are restaurants, super markets, bars, club, internetcafe, pharmacies, card operated telephones and there is also frequent public transportation from and to the city of Corfu
